ABOUT THE PROJECT
A dynamic project that takes into account the history and deep connection the fans have with this one-of-a-kind team. Following its acquisition by Brera Holdings PLC, UYBA felt the need to push its brand into the future of sports. A rebranding heavily driven by the CEO and American investors, that aims to break free from the confines of “just a team logo.” UYBA has set its sights on becoming, first and foremost, a lifestyle brand—not just catering to fans and the volleyball sector but expanding its horizons every day. This rebranding followed a long and intricate process, yet it was disruptive in its execution: no traditional rules were followed. The journey began with a custom-made font for the volleyball team, inspired by the layout of a volleyball court, which encapsulates the butterfly—the iconic symbol of the Busto Arsizio squad. From there, creativity soared, resulting in a graphic and visual identity that not only embraces current trends but aims to set them. The design is innovative, simple, and minimalistic, leaving room for emotion to shine through. A cornerstone of the project is the new website, still in the final stages of development, especially the online shop, and the official merchandise, including the all-important match jerseys.
