Telling the story of the professionmeans telling the story of the country.
This is why, on the occasion of the Ninetieth Anniversary of the Surveyor’s Profession, the streets of Como will be able to interact with five installations, which retrace the stages that have marked the process of professional identification, and focus attention on five iconic “corners” of the city. The user will be able to see elusive but high-impact aspects through a filter that projects attention onto the historical and cultural elements, and their right angles. Duomo di Como, Teatro Sociale, Basilica di San Fedele, Statue of Alessandro Volta and finally Collegio dei Geometri e dei Geometri Laureati della Provincia di Como, are the monuments and buildings with which an intense and constant “visual dialogue” will be established.
The initiative is managed in its entirety by Memesi and, strengthened by the consensus expressed by the Consiglio Nazionale dei Geometri e dei Geometri Laureati, fits synergistically into the context of professional revitalization just begun with the creation of the promotional campaign with the imperative and concise slogan, “The Everyday Professional.” This process of reevaluation of content and values also wants to express itself by paying homage to the City of Como, the hub of the College’s activity.
This project was also embraced by Alessandro fermi, President of the Regional Council of Lombardy, who was present at the press conference held on Friday 4 October 2019 at the headquarters of the Collegio dei Geometri of Como.
