Como is the beating heart of Memesi, the region that is our home and that, ever since our arrival at Palazzo Pantera, we have been getting to know day by day. Through our studio’s work, we contribute to the contemporary entrepreneurial landscape of the city and its lake, which is why we are delighted to announce that Memesi is taking on the management of one of the most important cultural projects in the city and the surrounding area.
For Como UNESCO Creative City, the City of Como has entrusted Memesi with a three-year mandate: during this period, we will oversee the visual identity and integrated communication project, with a particular focus on Lake Como Creativity Week 2026, scheduled for September 28 to October 4.
The event, which reaffirms the City of Como’s role as Coordinating City of the National Coordination of Italian Creative Cities for the 2025–2027 term, envisions a collective initiative that highlights the creative identity of Lake Como and its region, internationally recognized for their ability to weave together art, craftsmanship, textile manufacturing, sustainable fashion, design, architecture, and Italian know-how.
Our assignment is part of a broader project that goes beyond simply promoting an event; it involves crafting a shared, coherent, and recognizable narrative, for which we sincerely thank the City of Como and the Como-Lecco Chamber of Commerce.
At the heart of Lake Como Creativity Week, as part of the UNESCO project, are exhibitions, labs, talks, workshops, performances, and cultural initiatives aimed at showcasing and promoting the region. As an independent communications agency, Memesi is proud to represent the region that is our home and which, in such a short time, we have been able to represent through such a prestigious assignment.
Our values are clear and aligned with the UNESCO project: local identity and international scope come together through strategy and cultural sensitivity. We can’t wait to get to work!
