Design in trasformation
The collaboration between Memesi and Campeggi celebrates a shared commitment to innovation, playfulness, and the enduring principles of Italian design. Tasked with creating the graphic layout for Campeggi’s new catalog, we embraced a meticulous approach to ensure the final result echoed the brand’s contemporary identity while honoring its heritage. Campeggi stands as a tribute to the masters of Italian design, combining creativity and functionality in furniture that adapts to modern living. This catalog needed to capture that transformative philosophy while becoming a seamless extension of the brand’s unique approach to design. The layout is minimalist yet expressive, balancing clean typography, negative space, and imagery to create a harmonious flow. Each page is designed to let Campeggi’s pieces take center stage, emphasizing their innovative yet approachable character. The catalog is printed on Sappi Magno Volume, chosen for its tactile softness and vibrant color rendering, enhancing both the look and feel of the project. Photography by Giovanni Emilio Galanello, Vincenzo Caccia, and the Campeggi Archive brings out the essence of each product, while illustrations by Steven Guarnaccia add a playful narrative that mirrors the brand’s identity.
Central to the project is a belief that defines Campeggi’s ethos: “Things that do not change are destined to wither; only those capable of change do not die.” This message underscores every element of the catalog, reinforcing the brand’s focus on adaptability and reinvention.
