Lake Como Design Festival is a series of events, exhibitions, and thematic installations dedicated to contemporary design, held annually in the city of Como and around its Lake. This year, the widespread design festival will take place from September 14 to 21, with the guiding theme Fragments, interpreted in its various meanings by each exhibitor.
Memesi will also take part in this seventh edition of the LCDF, opening the doors of Palazzo Pantera for one day only, Thursday, September 18, 2025, with an event of dual identity: Crafted Papers and Crafted Sips.
We have embraced the theme Fragments in a radical way, fully aligned with our expertise, which sets us apart for our focus on the tactile dimension of print. For one day, the courtyard of Palazzo Pantera will welcome all design enthusiasts and the curious alike: from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., we will host the Paper & People paper showroom. We are bringing to Como a truly special guest, one of the leading references in the distribution of premium and colored papers.
And that’s not all! Paper fragments will take center stage in the TAQQUINI workshop, led by Valerio Romano, a.k.a. @Follit. He will guide participants in the creation of artisanal notebooks using recovered papers from Paper & People, fragments of memory and manual gestures. There will be two workshop sessions, at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, available by registration only.
The day will continue with Crafted Sips, an intimate moment, an exclusive, invitation-only cocktail tasting involving Da Pietro, a pillar of the city of Como with its three restaurants in Piazza del Duomo. Here, fragments become liquid, blending together through the art of mixology, with open-air tastings of signature cocktails, once again in the courtyard of Palazzo Pantera.
The Paper & People showroom will be open to everyone, while participation in the TAQQUINI workshop requires registration, which is already available via Eventbrite.
